I just finished building my first pc and got windows 7 32 bit running on it but when i try to connect to my router with an ethernet cable it says network adapter driver not found or installed.. Plug in the old hd, boot into the new win7, in device manager open network adapter, click on driver tab, choose update driver, browse to the old win7's windows>system 32 folder to install the driver. it will always be there.. Solution 2: update your network adapter driver if the system on your computer fails to find a driver for your network adapter, you can download and install one by yourself, or if you don’t have the time, patience or computer skills to update the xxx driver manually, you can do it automatically with driver easy .. Windows could not find a driver for your network adapter detected !! when i look in the device manager, there is no entry for “network adapters” either. when this problem first occurred i found that restarting the computer 2 or 3 times seemed to fix the issue but not permanently.. I installed windows 7 64 bit and the network driver recommended for it. when i go to the device manager, in the network adapters there is only bluetooth that is mentioned, no wireless adapter. the wireless does not work..
