I run an epson v850, and use vuescan 64bit, silverfast 64bit, and epson scan. all three have assets and drawbacks, and over time i've chosen the software that fits the film. i run win 10 on a dell desktop and the scanner is cabled to it.. Dear user, epson scan uses a lot of automatic post-scan filters. in silverfast, you get the actual data from the scanner and can decide which functions you want to use on them. the only filter that automatically gets activated is the usm you can deactivate it by closing the usm tool..
