Windows xp (home and professional editions) will install and run under virtualbox.org (versions 3 and 4, but you should try to use version 4 because it's faster) on windows 7 (64-bit edition) without any problems.. Since microsoft recommends 16 gb of free disk space for 32-bit & 20 gb for 64-bit windows 7, let’s use the default 20 gb as the virtual disk size. however, you can change it if you don’t have enough free space.. Virtualbox usb 'routing' driver works in 64-bit, and if you have a 32-bit guest you should be able to install the usb driver on the 32-bit guest and have it working here..
